Cellar 849 is all about simple and truly authentic pizza executed with skill, expertise and old world standards of care. Being a true Neapolitan style pizza isn’t easy. For one thing, that means being baked for no more than 2 minutes in a wood-burning oven cranked to a balmy 900 degrees. Working with an imported Italian built wood-fired oven presents many challenges but also provides the greatest potential for reward in the end result.

Pulcinella (pool chee’nel la) is a character from the 17th century Italian Commedia dell’Arte that is widely recognized as the symbol of Naples. The culture demonstrated at Cellar 849 represents the passion of Pulcinella and Neapolitans have for food, wine and life. The defining goal of Cellar 849 is its ambiance and style of service is to make everyone feel welcome. We want everyone to feel at home here, no matter who they are or where they come from. Our interior design is inspired by wine and the simplicity of the menu and the straightforward casual and honest approach to service. The functional elements are part of the design – nothing is hidden.
