You’re invited to be part of this exciting new chapter in the long and illustrious history of wine making. In this urban setting you will taste and choose what you like from the large selection of fine wines carefully crafted using grapes made available from more than 100 vineyards in 12 countries. Not only do we make our own wines for sale by the bottle or glass where we specialize in unique and interesting varietals and blends, but you may choose to tie on an apron, roll up your sleeves and be a winemaker for a day as you bring life to your own wine creation.

Create and personalize your own wine!

You don’t have to travel to wine country because Cellar 849 brings the best of wine making to you right here in Downtown Plymouth. Your experience begins by sampling different wines produced from the highest quality grapes all over the world. Once you have chosen one to your preference, our winemaker will start your own batch of 28 or 29 750 ml bottles and watch over the fermenting process for 45-60 days. When the wine is ready, we will contact you to set up a time to bottle, cork, seal and apply your own custom designed label in Cellar 849’s bottling party room. It’s educational, unique, easy and makes a fun night out with family, friends or colleagues. Makes a perfect gift, wedding favor, business promotional item or just to have in your own cellar. We have all the favorites: Merlot, Cabernet, Zinfandel’s, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and many more.

Every batch of juice we source is guaranteed to be 100% pure varietals of the highest quality. We use high quality American made bottles, synthetic corks and commercial quality labels. When your wine is completed you will find that your wine is quite drinkable at this point; however we suggest that you let your red wine age in a cool, dark place for another three to six months.
